222/125 - Klimperkästchen Snowman Melody: Winter Wonderland

When you turn the crank, a strained wire and quills make a jingle, inside the Klimperkästchens. The Klimperkäastchen is the predecessor of the music box. Already around 1800 it was made in Seiffen, Germany. Later, mechanical gadgets replaced the jingles. That was the birth of the music boxes in the Erzgebirge. To date, these are produced in a wide variety with elevators.
